Dr. Ted Yoho is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with more than 30 years of clinical practice, bringing a rare blend of medical expertise, health-policy leadership, and global security insight.
From 2013 to 2021, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives, with roles on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he chaired the Asia Pacific Subcommittee in the 115th Congress. His work focused extensively on supply-chain security, biothreat preparedness, and pharmaceutical independence.
As a senior policy advisor in Washington, D.C., Dr. Yoho has helped shape U.S. strategy on global health, food security, and the vulnerabilities created by foreign dependence on essential medicines. He has championed multiple initiatives to rebuild domestic pharmaceutical capability and to strengthen America’s resilience against biological, geopolitical, and supply-chain disruptions.
